The Ottawa-Carleton Educational Space Simulation (unofficially referred to as Spacesim) is a non-profit organization that promotes a greater understanding of space exploration and research in students of all ages. By conducting a 96-hour mission to a chosen planet, moon, or asteroid each year, Spacesim strives to foster initiative and responsibility in its members, while instilling love and respect for space and science. Spacesim is a Ottawa-Carleton wide organization. However, in recent years, only the Lisgar Collegiate Institute Chapter has been active. Spacesim's main office is located at 29 Lisgar Street, Ottawa, while its simulator is located at 440 Albert Street, Ottawa.
