SEDSIC was organized in Valencia, Spain in September 2006 .VIT, Vellore has been chosen as venue for 2007.

X-prize Cup 2007October 26 - 28, 2007
Holloman Air Force Base
The 2007 X PRIZE Cup will be this October 26-28 at Holloman Air Force
Base. The event will be host to the Lunar Lander Challenge, the premier
of the Mark-1 X-Racer, rocket launches, ground displays, any many other
exciting things. Furthermore, SEDS will have a booth at the cup in the
middle of the exhibit/organizations displays. That said, attending the
Cup would be a great opportunity for anyone and we are attempting to get
as strong a SEDS presence at the Cup as possible.
If you are interested and/or planning on attending, then please let me
know and we will try to coordinate efforts to make travel and lodging as
cheap and easy as possible.

Space Vision 2007November 9 - 12, 2007
MIT, Massachusetts, USA
SpaceVision is the national conference of Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) and will host several hundred students and professionals at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology this year. The conference will define our generation`s role in space development and offer several opportunities to become involved in the space sector.
This year`s conference will be host to an opening keynote by Anousheh Ansari on Friday evening, followed by a great line-up of speakers on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will also have a Career Fair, ISU Luncheon, and the annual SEDS/alumni reunion banquet. Sunday will have an Endowment Funch luncheon to kick off the funding for the new SEDS-USA Endowment Fund. Finally, the conference will close on Monday with a series of workshops on the various executive board departments.
